No one understands your trauma better than you. I specialize in helping people work through their trauma so that healing can begin and life can be enjoyed to the fullest. I pride myself on building a positive rapport with each client as this is the foundation of effective therapy. Having empathy and building rapport is just the beginning. I like to tackle things head-on, as we cannot deal with it if we don't identify and talk about it. Whether it's trauma, depression, anxiety, or just going through a difficult time in life, I'd love to meet you where you're at and begin the process.
I offer many different modalities of therapy including EMDR, CBT, and DBT to name a few. Everyone is different and so are their needs. This is why I love having the flexibility to bring in different types of therapy as needed along the way.
I will push you outside of your comfort zone as that is where growth happens. However, I will not push more than I feel you are ready for. Therapy is often about digging through the mud of life and the things we bury deep inside. I'd love nothing more than to help you with that.
