As a clinician, I am curious, investigative, compassionate, an advocate, empowering, trust-building, and pragmatic. I am passionate about combining CBT, DBT, and other mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches to help you meet your goals.
I earned a MSW in 2014 from California State University, Chico, and I have over eight years of experience as a therapist, working with adults in prevention, outpatient, and intensive outpatient clinical settings. I have special training in treating individuals aged 60 and older and the unique challenges that aging individuals encounter.
I believe deeply in the inherent strengths and capacities of each person I encounter and the importance of eliciting those strengths while doing the hard work of addressing treatment goals.
