Connecting in a playful manner with elementary age kids or creating strong, supportive connections with teens and adult clients is my specialty. I support clients with validating where they are coming from and what has shaped them, building awareness, processing difficult experiences or changing family dynamics, developing coping and distress tolerance skills, as well as collaborating with caregivers and schools for strategies that work in supporting children.
I have over 15 years experience working with children and families. In my work, I share information on development, the brain, relevant diagnoses, build perspective through CBT skills and ACT processes, in addition to exploring effective parenting strategies. I work with children, ages 8 and up, teens, and adults.
