I am Shannon, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia with approximately 10 years of experience in providing mental health services in multiple environments. I have had the opportunity to work in private practice, university counseling centers, and crisis services. I have worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, abuse histories, relationship issues, stress, life changes, personal growth, and family of origin issues.
I strongly believe that every individual is different. Through a strength-based and solution-focused lens, I draw on multiple treatment modalities to guide clients in identifying their strengths and developing individual treatment plans to accomplish their goals. My approach to therapy is client-centered.
