Scrolling through psychology today looking for an in-person therapist? Tired of telehealth? Me too! I'm a family and couple therapist who loves seeing people in real life. It might sound weird, but I enjoy talking about one of life's harder, less talked about, and more taboo things: death and dying. I also have a unique perspective for those dealing with cancer and the hell it can unleash. I am drawn to helping those dealing with cancer or any chronic illness and its impact on their family, the death of their child, infertility, unprocessed grief, and other helpers dealing with secondary trauma and burnout to discover meaning.
As a parent and wife, I am also passionate about helping other families feel more equipped with tools to be the parent and partner they strive to be! Working through grief, death, loss, birth stories good and bad, as well as dysfunctional family or relationship dynamics are my favorites. I really enjoy working with anyone; individuals, couples, and families.
I use a solution-focused approach and am a positive and praise-oriented person, helping you feel good about yourself, your life, and your relationships is my goal. I enjoy working with folks of all ages, including older adults dealing with life transitions. I am also trained in Prepare and Enrich facilitator.
