About
It's normal to feel overwhelmed in our lives. I believe therapy can be a powerful experience and tool to process current and past stressors in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. I am passionate about tailoring therapy to each person's needs and desires and I offer a variety of therapy options to help empower clients toward wellness and fulfilled lives. I operate from a compassion-focused and trauma-informed perspective and work toward cultural humility with all clients.
Shannon has experience working with teens and adults with persistent mental illness, trauma, and significant life adjustments. She utilizes a collaborative, client-centered, and trauma-informed lens in the counseling room. Shannon is a Licensed Professional Counselor-In Training, a Nationally Certified Counselor and Animal Assisted Psychotherapist.
Entering counseling is a scary and courageous step. When you are ready to take this step toward healing, please contact me for a free 15-minute phone meet and greet.
