Life can be messy. Wherever you are now, my goal is you emerge from therapy feeling more at ease and with greater confidence to journey through future life events. Licensed as a clinical psychologist since 2006, I'm grateful to have accompanied adults, teens, older adults, and couples through many complicated experiences & feelings - life & career transitions, parenting, aging, grief, relationship issues, caregiving, neurodivergence (attention deficit & autistic spectrum), anxiety, and depression. Through our work you gain self-understanding and compassion, implement new strategies and skills, and improve relationships.
My approach is warm, curious, direct, and respectful. I offer ‘talk therapy’ informed by psychodynamic theory and grounded in an understanding of attachment theory, human development, equity, & resilience. This means I anticipate every person has multiple strengths (some you may not be fully aware of) and that you are motivated to thrive, not just survive.
I respect you are an expert in your own life and am curious to learn about who you are at the core and illuminate how you can use your unique gifts to address life’s challenges & feel better. My optimism for you is informed by years of learning from clients, research on well being, and navigating my own ups and downs as a student, leader, worker, and parent.
