About
Over the past 17 years, I have worked with hundreds of adolescents in area community mental health agencies and as a visiting school counselor, and am now offering services privately, specializing in young adults, adolescents, parenting, & women's issues. I help with issues like stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parent-child relationships, peer issues, and self-esteem. I treat all of my clients with positive regard, warmth, and kindness. My approach is strengths based and holistic, incorporating evidenced based interventions. I want you to feel free and safe to talk about whatever you would like to in my office.
I have worked with many well known family agencies, such as Kidspeace, Pinebrook Family Answers and Valley Youth House and spent 5 years working in schools on myriad issues, such as peer problems, bullying, and emotion regulation. I have been trained in Functional Family Therapy, Multi-Systemic Family Therapy, and Trauma Focused CBT,
I know it's scary to reach out to a perfect stranger for help. It takes courage to seek help and be vulnerable. I can assure you that I am here to provide a safe, non-judgmental, welcoming space where you can feel supported as you work through the issues with which you are your child are struggling.
