I’ve learned that therapy is most effective with two key elements. The first is that a person needs to be ready. Ready to make changes. Ready to take an honest look at themselves. Most of us have fallen into the trap of repeating the same patterns, hoping things will shift on their own. But meaningful change requires intentional effort- new behaviors, new ways of thinking, and letting go of habits that no longer serve us. I aim to support people through that process, blending practical strategies with deeper exploration of how core beliefs, negative thought patterns, and family dynamics influence current behaviors and relationships.
The second essential element is finding the right fit. While it’s important to choose someone with the appropriate credentials and experience (which I have), it’s just as important to find someone you genuinely connect with.
