As a couples and family therapist, I’m passionate about helping couples reduce conflict, strengthen emotional connection, renew trust, improve communication and understanding, and rekindle feelings of togetherness and joy. I believe that with the right tools and guidance this can be done. The research agrees: according to the Journal of Marital and Family therapy, couples therapy positively affects 70% of couples in treatment.
I employ an integrated approach to couples therapy based on the principles of The Gottman Method in which I am trained (Levels 1 and 2). These tools and principles help couples to better manage their relationship and to develop problem-solving skills that give them greater relational flexibility, emotional stability and contentment.
