Welcome. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe being open and authentic. My person-centered approach is grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I work collaboratively to help you explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors as you move toward your goals. I have experience in adult and adolescent inpatient care, group work with at-risk youth, and individual and couples counseling, as well as working with the LGBTQ+ community, adults with developmental disabilities, and their caregivers. I would be honored to support you on your journey.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Georgia in 1997 and my Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 1999. I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and strengths-based approaches to pre-teens, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults. I am also certified in trauma counseling
In person and virtual appointments available.
