It is my honor and privilege to get to work in a profession that I love, where I am able to partner with hard-working people to find solutions to their struggles. I have seen the positive results of people being able to open up in a non-threatening environment. Together, we look at your whole self, taking into account relationships and their influence on who you are. I'm passionate about my work and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to witness someone making a significant change and being there when they experience the moment or series of moments where it all clicks.
My experience has been primarily with various couple issues, individuals in divorce recovery, women's issues, parenting, grief and family communication. I have been married 27 years and have two children, 18 and 23. I've been in private practice for 24 years and look forward to many more years of helping people form a vision for themselves.
Please visit my personal website link or directly at www.familymatterscounseling.com for more information and to just get to know me a bit before making your appointment. I am also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and provide supervision to therapists meeting licensure requirements for LMFT.
