Each client comes to therapy with their own hopes and fears, strengths and challenges, and lived experiences. The relationships and bonds we form in therapy allow for the creation of a safe space to explore these experiences. I work with individuals and couples to find greater fulfillment and connection in their lives. We often repeat distressing negative patterns because of painful experiences in our past. The relationships and attachments in our formative years impact how we navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, shifts in mood and experiences of trauma which is why the therapeutic relationship can be so healing.
In romantic relationships, attachment wounds can create difficulties with conflict resolution, unhealthy communication, mistrust, intimacy, infidelity, codependency or emotional unavailability. I focus on creating secure attachments with your partner, which allows you and your partner to find more security, satisfaction and fulfillment in your relationship.
It is my goal to always provide a trauma-informed space free from judgment, stigmas, and shame where clients can explore how their past intersects with the present, and find new pathways and possibilities for the future. I provide therapy with compassion and humor in a supportive environment to help you create the changes and relationships you desire.
