I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting college students, adults, and couples. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, and managing life stressors. As a cognitive-behavioral therapist, I am committed to helping clients create meaningful changes in their lives. Therapy goals may include gaining insight into thoughts and emotions, developing healthy coping strategies, building self-esteem and self-compassion, processing trauma, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening relationships through boundaries and assertive communication.
I have a lot of experience providing short-term, evidence-based treatments. I also enjoy working with clients in longer-term therapy to deepen self-awareness, clarify values, and foster personal growth. Therapy, in my opinion, should be a collaborative process, carefully tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals.
I hold a BA from Brown University and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Binghamton University (SUNY). Certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Cognitive Behavioral Conjoint Therapy for PTSD, I’ve also served as a consultant for the National Center for PTSD’s PE training program.
