I have learned that many "symptoms" are actually inroads to the hidden away, injured, vulnerable parts of self that are waiting for an environment where there are resources for repair, healing, and growth. I am constantly surprised by the human potential to grow and I strive to provide an environment that gives life to the healing process.
Originally trained as a neuropsychologist, I am a clinician specializing in psychoanalytic therapy. With 15+ years experience, I've cultivated a deep approach to treatment which allows for enduring change and growth. Working at the intersection of psychoanalysis and contemporary neuroscience, I help contain intolerable states and rewire the brain.
I love my job and work hard for my clients. Clients appreciate my sense of humor, playful presence, and down-to-earth nature. I provide loving limits and a safe space to understand and work through early conflicts. I enjoy working with adults and couples who are curious about themselves and am LGBTQ affirmative.
