Carl Jung said "The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you really are" and this is something I am passionate about: helping my clients uncover who they truly are and live the lives that they deserve. I primarily work with children, teens and young adults and enjoy creating unique interventions based on upon their interests and goals. Using talk, art and play I help clients explore their experiences with anxiety, depression, school challenges, and trauma. Having previously worked in school settings I have witnessed first hand how important mental health counseling is for children, teens and young adults.
My goal is to create a safe space where people feel accepted for who they are & encouraged in their goals. I am trained in EMDR, which is a powerful tool for processing trauma and a unique offering for the teen and young adult population (as many EMDR providers only support adults). I also work with gifted and twice-exceptional indiviudals.
