I worked for years to overcome challenging life issues and situations before studying to become a Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor, so that I would be qualified to help others do the same. I believe strongly that a better life is out there if you can be courageous enough to try new behaviors, challenge old ways of thinking, and sometimes tolerate uncomfortable emotions. Therapy is not always easy, but it is rewarding, and you're not alone.
Trauma and attachment issues affect most people. We can work together to improve your attachment, heal trauma, calm down the nervous system, and be rid of unhelpful beliefs and behaviors. I help families in crisis, the LGBTQ+ community, and write letters for gender-affirming care. I also partner with energy workers and massage professionals when requested.
Healing happens in relationship. I have spent years studying interpersonal neurobiology as it relates to trauma and firmly believe our brains are hardwired at birth for connection.
