About
For most of my life I have been told that others feel open and safe talking with me about their day to day struggles. This ongoing narrative, coupled with my work as a nanny with kiddos with developmental challenges led to my career path as a therapist. I find it fulfilling to work with people from a variety of backgrounds, including kids, teens and grown ups and especially with individuals learning to adapt to life challenges, such as chronic illness or pain, as well as grief and loss.
I have a working history and training with individuals using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Further, I have received supervision and have a history working with trauma, children with developmental concerns and challenges, as well as a strong interest in working with those with chronic health concerns.
Admitting we have struggles is challenge number one. Reaching out and getting help takes bravery. I am ready and willing to meet you where you are in an authentic and welcoming environment and am hopeful you will feel emotionally safe and supportive in my care.
