Shaniqua Gray is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Open-Minded Therapy, LCSW, PLLC. In her practice, Shaniqua brings clients therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. Clients examine the thought patterns that lead to distressing emotions, including emotions that are a result of traumatic experiences. By altering these thought patterns, clients find reprieve from distress.
Her goal for all clients is to create a safe and nurturing environment for self-discovery and understanding, free from judgment. Shaniqua strives to instill mindfulness in clients, encouraging them to be aware of themselves, others, and the world around them. She is an advocate for community mental health and the benefits of psychoeducation.
