This expectation known as the Superwoman Schema can leave us feeling isolated, emotionally exhausted, and unseen. It tells us we have to do it all, all the time.
You don’t have to live that way.
My counseling practice is a space where you can exhale.
Where you don’t have to explain your culture, code-switch your emotions, or shrink your truth.

I work with Black and Brown adult women who are ready to let go of survival mode and move toward balance, clarity, and peace. You deserve support that affirms who you are and honors where you’ve been. Through culturally-affirming counseling, I support women in reclaiming peace, processing life’s challenges, and prioritizing their own healing journey.
As part of great practice and modeling for communication, I make myself accessible via email and phone. For those potential clients who are not able to come to the office, I use teletherapy ( video therapeutic services) to reach them. I welcome consultation as a form of connecting before starting services to aid in rapport building.
