When we think and act in ways that don’t align with who we are, it can cause us to treat ourselves or others badly. In other words: who you are is not who you’re being. It can feel directionless when we want to feel like ourselves again, but don't know where to start. I have felt this way myself and know how defeating it can feel -this is why I want to help. If you have been feeling off for a long time or just a short while, the most important thing is to make one step towards something good. As a therapist, I can give you direction and work with you to step towards the version of yourself you want to be.
You can expect therapy with me to be laid back but focused. I am conscious of your time and dedicated to helping you reach the goals. Because I believe in increasing the accessibility to mental healthcare, I have night and weekend availability.
It was while preparing for medical school where I realized my passion for helping others with their mental health and relationships. I changed course quickly and am glad that I did because I now integrate my knowledge of physical health with treating mental health. I am currently accepting new clients and welcome you to reach out.
