Step one is to close your eyes and take a deep breath. Fantasize for a moment about the greatest possible version of yourself. Is that ideal person confident? Is that person content? My understanding of therapy has never been limited to treating the symptoms of a diagnosis, or crisis.
My profession is about working with good people who want to get even better! I use a combination of life experiences (both failures and triumphs), insight, and empathy to join individuals in their quest to become better versions of themselves. I work towards radical changes in people struggling with mood, trauma, discipline, grief, and relationships.
I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, individual, family systems, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. I am a psychological personal trainer, and resource.
