Greetings, future clients. I work from a gestalt perspective believing that to overcome struggles, you need the awareness to know, respect, and accept their authentic selves. I encourage clients to view themselves as their best possible selves and will meet and challenge you with both empathy and genuineness as we explore your story together.
I use Gestalt, Narrative, CBT, IFS, SE, and Gottman therapy to name a few.
(Please note I work full-time at New Day in Yuba City, in-person and online, as well as part time through Headway online; so some insurances/payments vary by agency)
I am here to help you become your best self through building awareness in all the little pieces that make up the special gift that is you. I use a combination of theories with Gestalt and Narrative being corner stones of my approach with several other theories acting as additional support including IFS, CBT, SE, Attachment, Gottman, and others.
I am yet to meet someone I couldn't find authentic empathy for, let me be a constant honest presence in your life and I'll meet those beliefs that no one could possibly sympathize with you, with "try me!" Your story is not my story I would never think to judge what isn't mine, but I will challenge you and those pesky negative thoughts of yours.
