I am Shandrieka Poree Vallare, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience helping children, teens, adults, and seniors to better manage their anxiety, depression, anger management difficulties, relationship issues, coping skills, life transitional issues, academic problems, low self-esteem, chronic stress, and women’s issues. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work from Southern University-New Orleans.
I utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solutions-focused therapy (SFT), narrative therapy, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy. From my professional experience, I know that improving one's behavioral health can lead to increased quality of life.
I am passionate about helping people overcome life's difficult challenges and am dedicated to assisting individuals in developing new insights and coping skills. I’ll work with you to begin the process of transforming and improving your mental health.
