Marriage & Family Therapist, MA, MFT
Aloha, I offer therapy to individuals, couples and family groups to improve relationships, and find hope and a positive way forward through transition, conflict, crisis and loss. I work with a focus on building understanding of self and others, building upon natural strengths and resources, and taking time to honor grief and loss. In working with couples, priorities include developing competence and confidence in dealing with conflict, and providing psychoeducation regarding research-based elements of successful partner relationships.
I offer a six session premarital counseling package. We explore relationship strengths and challenges, examining areas including friendship, intimacy, conflict, values, and trust, as well as parenting, housework, and finances. After initial assessment, relationship education and skill building is specifically tailored to support and strengthen the couple's unique partnership.
Evening and weekend appointments only. My office is located in Varsity Building near UH Manoa, with easy freeway access and onsite parking available. The bus stops directly in front of Varsity Building (routes 4 & 6).

Mrs. Lewis is an exceptionally gifted therapist who also commands a comprehensive understanding of our community's resources including State agencies, and community-based support programs. During our collaboration, I have seen her help many families successfully navigate the state's system of care and get supportive services that augment the therapy she expertly provides.
