Hello! My name is Shamira Smith. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from UNC at Greensboro and later received my Master of Science Degree from Capella University. I am passionate and committed to my work as a therapist and it is always a joy to witness clients build on their strengths and see their weaknesses as an important tool towards their success on their journey.
I love to help clients visualize their experiences in a new way, which can lead to greater self-awareness and healing. I am passionate about working with children, teens, young adults, and families, struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, self-esteem issues, and other life stressors.
