My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. This can be achieved by providing a neutral safe environment and customizing an individualized treatment plan that best fits our lives' challenges and difficulties. I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. Completing my Doctorate in Couples and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. I currently practice at Newport Couple and Family Therapy with receiving extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, a highly effective modality for working with Couples and Individuals.
Having had over ten years of experience working in the mental health field, I have found a great passion for working with diverse children, adults, couples, immigrant refugee families. I am bi-lingual in English and Farsi. Member of The American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), Scholarship recipient of the Minority Fellowship Program (MFP)
