I am psychotherapist and founder of my private practice, Nexus Therapy, where I serve adolescents, adults, and families in Pearland.TX and surrounding areas. My client populations includes individuals and families dealing with complex trauma and PTSD, survivors of neglect and sexual abuse, grief, and attachment disorders. I am also a Certified EMDR Therapist and Certified Energy Healing Practitioner for trauma treatment in my belief of holistically addressing trauma and grief. I provide trauma informed trainings and consultation to assist agencies, schools, and trauma professionals in enhancing their trauma informed best practices.
In my role as a dual licensed clinician with being a marriage family therapist and licensed professional counselor, I foster and develop interpersonal relationships, for individuals with personal needs, couples with marital needs, and families with supportive needs.
I am dedicated to creating a safe and authentic space for my clients in acknowledging and respecting the vulnerability that must accompany the healing journey. My primary goal is to work collaboratively with my clients in meeting their therapeutic needs. My belief is that therapy is a journey of self discovery, healing, and renewal.

Dealing with Holiday Blues
The holiday season is a particular challenging time for many people. Grief, loneliness, and isolation may develop or increase due to an anniversary or first experience of feeling the void from the loss of a loved one, relationship strain or loss, lack of family or tradition, and/or ultimately the feeling of emptiness associated with the commercialization of the holiday season. Many people need additional support during this time of year. This group's primary goal is to offer a process oriented environment for connection and understanding amongst individuals with similarly shared experiences during the holiday season.
