My interest lies in working with individuals who isolate, have lost interest in the things they once enjoyed, and/or who think this world would be better off without them. I'm also interested in working with individuals who are tired of worrying, or want to be more social. And last, but not least, I take interest in working with individuals who “just want to be normal,” who can’t sleep for fear of having another nightmare, or who feel damaged because of a violation of their personal safety. In summary, I am interested in working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and PTSD/trauma.
With a caring and nonjudgmental attitude, I treat every client like a human being worthy of dignity and respect. I provide a space where clients feel safe enough to release their thoughts and feelings. Using a cognitive behavioral approach, I work alongside clients to identify and challenge the negative thoughts influencing their emotions and behavior.
I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and Veterans facing a variety of issues such as domestic violence, sexual assault, depression, anxiety, and PTSD/trauma.
