Feeling that you have lost your inner peace, confused about what steps to take next or just simply not feeling like yourself can be uncomfortable. Being in this season of your life that brings sadness, joy, hurt, pain, happiness, struggle and success is not meant to be done alone. You may need a space to gain back hope, hold yourself accountable and celebrate your wins. Our work together will be supportive and challenging. We will use these sessions to learn how to work through adversities, identify feelings and express yourself by working toward the goal of gaining a better understanding and connection with yourself.
My approach to working with individuals suffering through difficult and severe symptoms of their diagnosis is by taking a direct, strengths-based approach to therapy. I have a remarkable ability to utilize a direct approach that demonstrates commitment, respect for each client’s current emotional state and understanding of mental health.
I believe my approach creates space for clients to find their “why” and identify ways to cope through their stressors. My goal is to empower clients who are struggling to push forward, to decrease their helpless thoughts and self-hatred and motivate them to continue in their treatment.
