I use a combination of mindfulness and existentialism in order to empower clients to take an active role in treatment and be proactive in the therapy process. My role is to guide clients to discover meaning and freedom in their life. Helping clients build self-awareness, acceptance, and motivation to create a purposeful life brings me great joy. I work with adults struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, personality disorders and LGBTQ+ related issues. Marital/relationship counseling to overcome obstacles or to improve the quality of relationship with compassion is also offered.
As a team we will explore the presented challenges and adversities. I meet clients where they are in their journey using and teaching techniques based on building insight and understanding the dilemmas and emotions attached. I find joy teaching skills which lead to a sense of empowerment that replaces fears or self-doubt with acceptance and confidence.
