I work with individuals, couples and families seeking meaningful change in their personal, relational and professional lives. My approach embodies compassion, attunement, warmth, and directiveness. Clinical focus aims to illuminate unconscious mechanisms rendering one stuck in a feedback loop of multigenerational pattern replication which is no longer adaptive, causing pain. Those who resonate with this approach are seeking to understand themselves more fully; to become awakened as to how the past is showing up in the present.
My approach is humanistic, with strong emphasis on attachment and family systems theories. Areas of focus include family/couples' issues, parenting struggles, developmental trauma, grief/loss, divorce, differentiation in young adults, adoption-related challenges, codependency, and the impact of addictive disorders on the individual and family systemic unit.
