Being a therapist is not just my career, it is my passion. Working in the mental health field allows me to share with others just how important it is to take care of oneself. If we cannot show up for ourself, how can we be our best for anyone else?
Our day-to-day lives can be significantly influenced by childhood experiences. Unresolved trauma from our past can lead to current symptoms of anxiety, depression, substance use, post-traumatic stress disorder, etc... Sometimes we are living our trauma, and are completely unaware of it! If you find yourself affected by your past or current trauma, I am here to help.
I am trained in EMDR Therapy. Taking that initial step of talking about trauma can often be the hardest part. I create space for each client to be as honest and vulnerable as possible during therapy, to start healing their inner child and present self. Once we bring light to our past, we can have a clearer vision of the future.
