The people I work with rarely fit the categories the world assigns them. Many are neurodivergent, LGBTQ, people of colour, or living between cultures and inheritances. They are curious, introspective, and worn by rigid hierarchies. My work is relational and grounded in critical theory, drawing on psychodynamic, somatic, and trauma-informed traditions. Clients come to me for candour. Realness begets realness. I track insight into the body and into the present moment, and I name what moves in the space between us when a client can hold it with me.
Trauma-informed psychotherapy (TIST-trained), anxiety and depression treatment, identity formation, and art-based work. I speak English, Urdu/Hindi, and Pashto fluently, and have lived across cultures and continents, bringing close attention to symbolic and cross-cultural meaning. What I offer most is honesty, sincerity, and a healing relationship.
If you have spent a long time being understood in pieces, or not at all, you know how tiring that is. I work with identity, the stories we inherit, and the patterns that quietly hold us in place.
