Asking for help is hard—and look at you, rockstar! My name is Shae and I am a therapist in the Omaha-Metro area. I work predominantly with teenagers age 13 to 19 and young adults who are experiencing a myriad of struggles. I have worked extensively with teens who are involved in the juvenile justice system, on probation, or youth and families who have experienced the cycle of neighborhood and gang violence. I am passionate about creating a safe and accepting environment to promote healing, empowerment and resilience!
Throughout my career, I have worked to advocate for and empower survivors of domestic violence, LGBTQ+ teens and adults, youth involved in the juvenile justice system, and families in the child welfare system. I specialize in working with teenagers who have been affected by neighborhood and gang violence. I offer in-person and telehealth services by request.
Asking for help is hard and sometimes we can’t work through things on our own. Take the first step and we can walk the rest together!
