I provide therapy to individual adults on a variety of issues and Couples Counseling using an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) framework. My specialties are working with people through traumatic experiences, issues in attachments or relationships, anxiety and depression. I also have specialty training in women's issues, pregnancy, post-partum, and infertility. In couples work I provide a collaborative space to repair and rebuild your relationship with better understanding of emotions, needs, and patterns. Unfortunately, couples counseling is technically not covered through insurance, so I offer couples sessions out-of-pocket only.
As an Attachment and Relational specialist, I understand that each person's need for connection follows them into the therapeutic relationship with me as their therapist. Because of this, my work is highly interactive and connective. I will not just sit and listen to you, we will do the hard work together!
Through my approaches, you (or you and your partner) should expect sessions to become a space in life where you can address the issues that you need to alongside someone who's genuinely engaging and dedicated to your therapeutic progress. If desired, I can offer Christian faith based therapy services. Please feel free to visit my website for more info.
