Announcement icon I do provide telemedicine options (live video). If you are interested in a therapist with a public health background, please contact me.
Shae Cali is not currently accepting new clients.
Psychotherapy should be individualized, supportive, adaptive, and promote increased feelings of wellbeing, a heightened sense of competence or mastery, enhanced coping skills, stress reduction, and improved interpersonal relationships. Everyone is different, and our first sessions will focus on an exploration of your unique needs, strengths, preferences and abilities. Psychotherapy can be brief and solution-focused, but is often a lengthier relationship in which we examine lifelong themes and patterns. Please note, I typically work with individuals who can make a regular, weekly commitment to attend therapy.
My clinical practice style is eclectic, influenced by AEDP, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapy, along with meditation/mindfulness training, and I am a certified yoga instructor. I have a special interest in working w/ young women, and people of all ages experiencing chronic illness, pain, and/or co-occurring physical disability(ies).
My sun-drenched, welcoming, highly private office is located on the ground floor of a multipurpose historic Victorian home with readily available street parking and access by NJ Transit bus. I look forward to hearing from you soon. I have no immediate openings but if you are looking for help with pain or illness please ask me about my wait list.

Professional Connections

I have worked closely with Shae Cali for several years, collaborating on and discussing cases with her , and I have been consistently impressed by the range and depth of her familiarity with different psychotherapeutic approaches and her ability to integrate them in her practice. Her previous experience in nonprofit settings for well over a decade, before opening her own practice, has provided her with experience working with a wide variety of demographic groups, diagnostically and culturally. I know her to be uncompromising in maintaining the highest ethical standards and being deeply committed to the people with whom she works.
