At our core, we all want to feel loved, connected, and understood. I help individuals, couples, and families of all backgrounds to accomplish their therapy goals, improve their relationships, and develop the coping skills necessary to resolve past hurts that keep them from the lives they desire. My clients can expect an approach to therapy that is compassionate, direct, and focused on creating effective and creative solutions to life's challenges. Warmth, humor, goal setting, and collaboration are also important parts of my work.
I assist my clients by recognizing their core obstacles, looking for recurring themes, and building on their existing strengths to overcome difficulties. I am committed to understanding each client's unique situation, and creating the supportive healing relationship that makes growth possible.
Although my clinical concentration is sex therapy, my areas of expertise include overcoming anxiety, strengthening couples' communication, self-esteem coaching, LGBTIQ relationships, (re)building intimacy, and managing life transitions. Most importantly, my clients leave my office with a better understanding, acceptance, and love for themselves.
