I take an active part in helping my clients recognize why they may engage in maladaptive behaviors and help them to move toward constructive ways of handling their life issues in more adaptive ways. I worked for three years in the adolescent psychiatry division at Cook County Hospital and have continued my interest and expertise working with adolescents. I also have extensive experience working with clients who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as I was a psychologist on a team working with children who had been physically or sexually abused.

My aim is to collaborate in the process of restoration of people lives—providing compassion in order to renew hope. Thus, helping each individual and/or family I work with to experience an increasingly enriched life. I have a vast breadth of experience, but specialize in addictions, and working with teens/young adults as well as their families.

As a therapist with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling, I also help individuals, that may be struggling with anxiety, depression, infidelity, substance abuse, grief, divorce, and navigating a blended family. Greg’s passion is his work with men and men’s issues, their families and marital relationships as well as working with teens. Seeing clients age 12 and above are his area of expertise. Among his clinical areas of experience are working with anxiety, depression, stress management, anger, parenting skills, couples and communication, faith-based counseling and is also trained in sexual addiction in 2011.
