I will help you or your loved one to find that power within and make positive changes in your life. I am a Substance Abuse Professional and I am certified to perform DOT assessments for positive alcohol and drug tests. I provide counseling for any type of addiction (heroin, alcohol, sex, Internet) in a non-judgmental manner.

I have a long history of working with those who have experienced; domestic violence, sexual abuse, trauma, relationship difficulties, sexual concerns or addictions, PTSD, depression, anxiety, personality disorders and more. I work with men, women, and couples. I am a person-centered therapist who believes that clients are the experts of their own lives. I am honored to be invited to join my clients on their journey of healing and to offer a judgment free, supportive, and comfortable space for all of my clients to be themselves and explore their goals with me! Starting therapy is scary, I strive to make this a comfortable process.

Professional Services Group (PSG) provides individual, group, family, and couples therapy in Kenosha, Racine, West Allis, West Bend, Fort Atkinson, Waukesha, and Janesville for individuals struggling with a variety of mental health and substance abuse issues. We have therapists who work with clients as young as 4 years old, as well as adolescents, and adults. We are a trauma-informed practice that believes that it is our job to help clients reach their goals, on their terms. We also offer holistic services, including Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, Reiki, Sound Healing, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and Neurobiofeedback.

I am experienced in providing therapy to individuals, couples and families with children of all ages who struggle with communication, emotional and physical intimacy, balancing work and family, adjusting to transitions like job loss, divorce, blended family challenges. I have worked extensively with trauma , including sexual abuse , domestic violence and loss.

Amy has a master’s degree in forensic psychology and she has been practicing in the field for over 13 years. Her clinical expertise includes having worked in a variety of clinical settings such as residential, community mental health centers, hospitals, and correctional settings. Amy has experience working with adolescents, emerging adults and adults who present with life stressors/changes, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, binge eating disorder, bariatric patients, issues related to legal issues/incarceration, trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and sex and sexuality concerns.

Our life's work is helping clients achieve a better sense of self and happiness...more recently we've recognized that without good mental health providers, finding this balance in life can be more difficult and stressful. As a result, we tend toward an Integrative approach and help our clients transform into the people they want to be. We see each client as an individual with many parts to their identity. Utilizing a holistic and systemic approach we help clients reintegrate the parts of themselves to function better as individuals and within their systems. Our focus tends toward a systems based approach using behavior methods.

My first ten years as a psychotherapist were spent in New Orleans, where I worked, in part, to provide support and healing to members of a community ravaged by the traumas of Hurricane Katrina and the BP Oil Spill. This experience equipped me to serve people within the context of dramatic and disruptive life changes. I collaborate with my clients to manage their symptoms, transform the effects of trauma and grief, address creatively relationship issues, career changes and artistic blocks, and engender personal growth.

Therapy is for the client and the client's well-being with my role as the advocate and guide as we navigate through the presenting issues together. My therapeutic tools are offered to the client with empathy, compassion, and acceptance as a means of healing and understanding through this journey toward better living. My clinical experience and training is from an attachment and trauma informed perspective with many specific trainings.

I have worked with many people over the years; young children, adolescents, young adults, adults, all with various issues. Many of the clients I see are struggling with anxiety, worries, depression, chemical use, relationship concerns, or parenting dilemmas. Often times, people are most helped by having someone to listen, to help them explore the issue, and to find solutions that work for them. My 35 years of experience have given me insight into what strategies are most effective. I am licensed and skilled in both mental health and chemical use issues.

Dianna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in lifespan therapy from birth to death and any issue in between. Her compassionate and empathic approach creates a safe place that allows clients to develop their authentic self. She is passionate about helping children, adults, and families heal from past trauma related to their childhood and adult experiences and to find success in building healthy relationships. Working with a team of psychiatrists and other disciplines, she provides rounded and thorough support to each client who is in a time of difficulty.

Carey has a rich history of providing psychotherapy services with diverse populations. She is direct yet relatable, skilled yet casual. She has experience in crisis intervention and trauma and is trained in EMDR and TF-CBT. She has helped many clients with eclectic concerns such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, oppositional behaviors, conduct disorders, Autism Spectrum, schizophrenia and other psychoses, and relationship concerns. Viewing each therapeutic relationship as a partnership, Carey diligently works to meet clients where they’re at, without judgment, helping them to heal and achieve individual goals.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and licensed Art Therapist who approaches counseling in a holistic standpoint, by incorporating cognitive understanding, and emotional support with the creative self. While participating in therapy does not require you to engage in the experiential arts, I do encourage self-expression to release blocked emotion within sensitive surroundings. Some of the important areas of work include building self-esteem, self-identity, and helping to overcome deficits such as anger, communication, anxiety, separation of the family unit, depression, and substance abuse counseling. Being able to recognize your individual strengths and building on them helps encourage personal empowerment!
