Hi folks! My name is Darian (she/her) and I would be honored to be apart of your healing and growth journey. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and I am currently earning a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman's University. I enjoy working with people who have experienced complex trauma, people who are experiencing shame, anxiety, depression, relational disconnection, and much more. I also enjoy working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters connection, empowerment, and lasting change.

The counseling process can feel overwhelming at times. Through providing a safe, empowering, and positive healing environment, my goal is to help guide my clients through the process. I specialized in LGBTQ issues such as gender journeys and sexual identity exploration, domestic violence issues, and working with sexual assault survivors. I can help you to build your toolbox to manage and work through overwhelming emotions and life's traumas and uncertainties.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and a School Counselor with over 25+ years of experience and specializing in working with individuals, couples and families. We will work collaboratively together to help you find alternative and healthy ways to cope with disorders and symptoms such as anxiety (panic attacks), depression, grief/loss, and other mental health issues and addictions which can hinder success in personal relationships, schools/academics and/or employment settings. I am extensively trained in Trauma Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Therapies.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed professional counselor. I have over 10 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families suffering from various issues including depression, anxiety, anger, communication issues, conflict resolution, divorce, couples issues, parenting struggles, trauma including sexual abuse, and life's many transitions. WIth my specific training in family systems, my focus is on how our relationships with others impact us daily.I am also a certified facilitator of PREPARE-ENRICH Marital Assessment which has been shown to increase your chances of marital success for marital and premarital couples.
