Your most painful struggles may be the doorway to new growth and change. I am a trauma-informed, Licensed Professional Counselor who has been caring for others since 2006. I focus on marriage and family counseling, recovery from sexual abuse, grief and loss, and spiritual direction. I seek to help you understand your story and find your voice so that you can achieve your counseling goals. My training and approach is faith-based.
For marriage enrichment, I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy, in which couples learn how to better understand and meet their partner's needs for close attachment. If you are preparing for marriage, I utilize the Prepare/Enrich Assessment to identify strength and growth areas. I also treat OCD and have received specialized training in ERP through NOCD.
I have experience working alongside pastors and church families to coordinate care. My hope is that counseling will be a place of safety and encouragement. I truly believe that change is possible by God's grace. Let's get started!
