I have been in practice 16-years and have opened my service area thanks to Google Meet & Facetime. I became a therapist (I have a dual degree in both individual & family therapy) after beginning my own work over 2 decades ago. I see therapy as a tool, a valuable asset that helps us to pull from our history and present the things that work so our future can be everything we want.

My hope as a counselor is to create a safe space for clients to bring their deepest hurts and pain to light, ushering in hope, healing, and redemption. I am passionate about sitting well with my clients in their pain, understanding their unique stories, and using evidence based therapy to turn suffering into growth. I am a National Certified Counselor, an EMDRIA approved EMDR trained therapist pursing certification through EMDRIA, as well as an IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback Certified Provider (ICP).

Lacey wanted to create a practice that is all inclusive so the community can have a safe space to come and share their stories as they find healing after they have experienced trauma. Survivors of trauma often feel worried that they cannot share their experiences with others because it is too difficult to hear. Our therapists are able to sit with you to hear your story as many times as you need to tell it. I have been a licensed clinician since 1988. I started working with families in 1984. I have worked with clients as young as two and as mature as their nineties. I love working with couples, families, children, and teens; helping families with the challenges of adolescence and parenting. I work with couples recovering from infidelity and those desiring to strengthen their relationships. I work with PTSD, and Dissociative Disorders. I am trained in hypnotherapy, CBT, DBT, Integrative Holistic Therapy and EMDR. I was fortunate to complete my EMDR training (Levels I and II) with Francine Shapiro, PhD, EMDR's originator, in 1994.

I offer an open-minded and non-judgmental approach to my clients when everyday problems become too overwhelming to handle on their own. I create a warm relaxing environment so clients feel comfortable exploring their situation and together we can find solutions. When working with children, I often use play therapy techniques including art therapy to help children express their feelings through play.
