Using a trauma-informed, client-centered, and strengths-based approach to counseling, we will create a safe space for collaborative work and healing. We can also use mindfulness, somatic, and creative therapies if you feel drawn to that kind of work. I have particular experience working with people who have been impacted by sexual trauma; PTSD that feels out of control; family/relationship issues; attachment wounding; and significant loss.

I have been working with adolescents, adults and couples for over 30 years. I do both traditional "talk therapy" as well as expressive arts therapy in my fully equipped studio (on site). I specialize in helping people with life transitions (separation, divorce ) and provide Co-parenting mediation services for families living in bi-nuclear households. Hello! I'm currently accepting former clients and a small number of new clients as my practice is small. I work best with folx who are contending w/ depression, anxiety, and feelings of social or familial isolation. I'm comfortable with helping those who struggle with suicidal thoughts and self-harming. I've had successes in assisting families with increasing effective communication, individual self-harm reduction, and helping people to become more self-accepting. I am at ease with working with persons who have met grief of any kind, those who have experienced trauma, and anyone who just can't find their peace.

I believe that human connection begins with exploring our own vulnerabilities. My human experience has led me to process moments of disappointment and pain. Hey! I’m Lucy (She/Her), I help clients process complex trauma and sexual trauma through EMDR and creative expression. I imagine trauma is coming up that you thought was worked through but now you are realizing that you are not trusting yourself or others and your body is stuck responding as it did in the past even though things are different now. I work with sensitive souls who have felt like a burden for having needs and feel they are not enough and too much at the same time. Through our work you can build trust with yourself, your body and find relief from past trauma through 50 min, EMDR Intensives and/ or extended sessions.
