As a therapist at a mental health hospital, I facilitated psychotherapy groups and counseled patients struggling with severe depression, severe anxiety, substance use disorder, and stress-related and psychotic disorders. I am also passionate about marriage and enjoy helping couples work through challenges in their relationships.

Lori Wolfe earned her master's degree from Ohio University in 1994. She has worked in private practice settings, as well as community mental health. Lori's treatment focus is couples, adults, and very young children. She specializes in helping families with parenting concerns and new mothers experiencing postpartum depression. Lori is adept in assisting couples with marital issues and she has a wealth of experience treating adults with anxiety and depression.

I have a passion in assisting individuals, family's, and couples in making a positive change within their lives and processing their feelings, thoughts, traumas, and concerns. I am a therapist who understands building rapport and having a strong therapeutic relationship is essential in counseling. I have experience working with couples, families, and individuals address all majors issues which are causing emotional distress, daily sadness, confrontations/arguments, and the desire to quit. Kristyn is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio who earned her Master of Social Work from the University of North Dakota. Kristyn is trained as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Kristyn has also been trained in Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness-based Therapy and Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), Kristyn has experience working with individuals, children/adolescents and families.

Have you tried counseling before and found it didn't help? In my experience, traditional, or talk therapy, has limitations. Many people struggle with relationships, self-esteem, depression and/or anxiety. I have found that these issues are rooted in the "small t" traumas experienced earlier in life, and the resulting beliefs we have about ourselves, such as I'm not good enough, I have to be perfect or I'm not safe. Our nervous systems get overloaded so that we are in a near constant state of fight, flight or freeze. We live with negative self talk, which feels normal, but isn't. These symptoms lead to depression and anxiety.
