I have experience providing therapeutic services to individuals and families, ranging from children to adults who are living with grief, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues and trauma. I am a Certified Triple P Provider (Positive Parenting). I enjoy working with couples and have completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

If traditional talk therapy hasn’t helped as much as you had hoped, I encourage you to consider equine assisted/animal assisted therapy. In my 25+ years as as therapist, I have found that utilizing horses/animals in sessions has helped many people reach a level of awareness and growth that they were not able to gain in traditional therapy. At Paw Meadows I work with teens and adults (we accept private insurance and self pay). I also do more traditional office sessions, which may include a walk/hike in the great outdoors. Each individual in the therapeutic alliance is the ideal client for one simple reason - we are each uniquely in a rut, stuck, or confused. To this end imagine being in a pit of quicksand without any sense of direction, worth, or hope. People will walk by and offer advice on how to get out. Others might provide a utensil or medication. Yet none of these address the immediate situation of being in the pit of quicksand. My experience has taught me that clients want someone who will get in the pit with them, without question or judgement. They just do not want to be stuck alone. So I offer to sit with them and just be present.

I am a gender-affirming therapist and have completed certification requirements with WPATH, The World Professional Association for Transgender Health. I completed EMDR training with the Institute for Creative Mindfulness. I completed certification for treating ADHD. I am beginning the journey to becoming certified with AASECT the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
