I was interested in the mind, medicine, and alternative healing. I was eager to learn about these topics and devoured myself in literature on these topics. Very spiritually driven as a child, I began my lifelong path of helping others. From a very young age I understood that the mind and body are connected.

I strive to create a space for my clients to be their complete authentic self, and display any and every emotion in a compassionate and validating environment. I have experience with a diverse clientele using a variety of modalities. I specialize in the treatment of individuals, couples and families presenting issues relating to/stemming from: interpersonal relationships, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression and addiction. I've been in Private Practice in Massapequa for the past 27 years, and am the owner of Counseling Services of Long Island. I am also an Adjunct Professor at a local University. At CSLI, we accept many insurance plans, and provide individual, family, group and specialized counseling for couples. In addition to general practice issues, our specialties include CBT for anxiety, Mindfulness Training/Complementary Therapies, End-of-life/Bereavement program, difficult teens/families, workplace/EAP, and corporate consultation.
