Greetings! I am Keana Fairfax, LCSW, a doctoral candidate (2024). My Ideal clients may face challenges such as healing from trauma, including childhood sexual abuse or racial exclusion. Mental health issues like depression, anxiety, or PTSD may also exist. They require a safe space for healing, culturally competent support, and empowerment. Their goals may include processing repressed trauma, building confidence, developing coping and distraction strategies, improving emotional communication and trust, and relationship building. Tailoring care to these complex needs can pave the way toward a balanced and fulfilling life.

Most of our clients' issues and needs include Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress, Anger Management, Domestic Violence, and ADHD. Their needs include identifying positive and healthy ways to cope appropriately with emotions, identify ways to verbally express themselves appropriately, and identify healthy coping skills. Some goals would include processing their trauma, identfying positive peer networks, processing sadness and anger as well.

The HELP for Parents Network passionately serves the emotional needs of adults, children, couples and families, who are struggling to cope with the demands of their everyday life. Our mental health counseling services are tailored to the needs of the individual client or family. We meet people where they are and help them to reach their full potential, regardless of their challenges. We offer sessions in the office, online via video or chat and in some cases we can meet in your home. Our evaluations are not covered by insurance. We will be happy to provide you with a Superbill to present to your insurance company for reimbursement.
