My goal as a Licensed Professional Counselor is to offer professional care on a personal level to clients in Colorado Springs and Woodland Park. My focus is on working with individuals, families and couples from all walks of life that are open to learning and growing. My passion is to come along side individuals, couples and families to walk the journey of healing, change, recovery, and be present with and actively listen to them in the moment. I truly believe that each one of us has everything we need within us to make desired change. I do realize from my own journey that life can have many twists and turns, obstacles, hurtles and unexpected difficulties. My goal is to make an environment for you to feel comfortable and safe; enabling you to be willing to try to seek support.

Sometimes you are struggling with "old issues" and sometimes it is more current stresses like anxiety, relationships, or just do not know what to do next; I believe when you are ready to make a change, having a supportive push can really work!

Hi there, my name is Candi. One of my favorite quotes about life is by James Baldwin, which says, “Not everything that is faced can be changed but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” Life is too short to let trauma control us, to be anxious, depressed or angry all the time or to struggle alone in relationships. Therapy may not be the most comfortable experience, but it can be life changing. I want you to be able to find meaning and purpose and work through emotional pain so that your self-worth, relationships and other areas of life thrive.

Children experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression and other challenges communicate with us through their behaviors. I specialize in helping parents and children understand the meaning and purpose behind those behaviors. I help children build the resiliency they need to overcome past challenges and thrive at home, in school and in their communities. I also help parents/caregivers build the skills and strategies necessary to guide children through difficult circumstances and achieve a more positive future.

I am available to support you through your difficult times and will work with you to direct your treatment and recovery. I have eight years of clinical experience in addition to post-graduate education and have developed techniques to assist clients in coping with a wide range of concerns, from daily stress to chronic mental illness.
