Hello and welcome to our practice. We provide a variety of specialty counseling services including Sexual Abuse Recovery, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, LGBTQ services, Anger Management and EMDR. Some, not all of our therapists on staff, take insurance so when you contact us, we will do a short phone screening to assess your needs and financial resources We strive to provide quality counseling while maintaining affordable fees. We have a team of therapists on staff to assist you with your needs.

Specializing in Veterans and Seniors. I accept Medicare. The healing process is a journey that begins with a safe and trusting relationship with your therapist. I provide a non-judgmental therapeutic environment to facilitate your self-exploration. I have experience working with adults from various backgrounds, with a focus on emotional distress, anxiety, depression, adjusting to life transitions (i.e. divorce, new baby), trauma (child sexual assault, domestic violence, and war). I utilize a pragmatic eclectic yet holistic approach which integrates empathy, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Narrative, and EMDR to promote change.

Trauma is complex and affects the mind and body. When children and teens are exposed to a traumatic event or chronic trauma, their bodies’ endure toxic stress. Often children and teens are unable to communicate their complex emotions and thoughts due to the inability to comprehend their experience. Parents struggle knowing how to support their child and fear of causing further harm. Trauma heals through resolving unresolved memories and emotions. Addressing trauma is essential.

Dr. Dani's Therapy and Psychological Services, LLC provides individual, group, family and couple's therapy, as well as psychological evaluations. We have experience working alongside a diverse range of professionals representing the fields of psychiatry, nursing, psychology, substance abuse and education. We have several clinicians in our office from graduate students ($65), licensed associates ($130), and psychologist ($200).

I am a Behavioral Health Psychologist and LPC, that works with adults, adolescents, and children that have experienced trauma. Sometimes, our traumatic experiences can leave a wound that interferes with our ability to connect with ourselves, others, and the world. Often, we can feel incredibly isolated and misunderstood in our pain. Working with trauma includes building safety with the person, providing warmth and stability in the environment, and consistency in their treatment. While you may feel like there is no hope, there are gentle and effective ways, that we can work together to find, that will support your healing.

I firmly believe that change is inevitable when guided by intention and effort. I'm committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where we can work collaboratively to pave the way for healing and empowerment. We all face hard stuff in life, and for each person what that looks like differs and cannot be held up to others for comparison. Pain is Pain. The good news, however, is that also means that hope is hope and joy is joy. The hard events we face in our lives are teachers that give each of us an opportunity to face our fears head on and heal to fully embrace who we were always meant to become!

I have been working with children, young adults, and families for the past 20 years. I began my work in Early Childhood Development and worked with children birth-12 years old and later focused my work to include adolescents and the needs of this unique age group. I specialize in family therapy, grief, anger management, ADHD, social skill difficulties, spectrum disorders, anxiety difficulties, and early childhood traumas including, sexual abuse and child abuse. I am a licensed therapist and specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults who are survivors of sexual abuse as well as those exhibiting sexually acting out behaviors. In addition, I am skilled in addressing interpersonal issues within families and couples, helping foster the creation of secure bonds and re-organized emotional responses. Treating a person's concerns holistically is important to me as I believe in the mind-body connection and that one affects the other.

I have worked with a number of individuals with a number of different needs, challenges and backgrounds including but not limited to; Anxiety, Depression, Transition to Adulthood and overall interest to improve their lives. I specialize in working those who have experienced human trafficking or sexual abuse.

The opposite of traumatized isn't content. The opposite of addicted isn't sober. The opposite of depressed isn't happy. I believe that the opposite of all emotional unrest is connection. Through connecting in a meaningful way to me as your therapist, we will walk a path toward making meaningful connections in your life, and being present and engaged in the connections you already value so deeply. I work primarily with survivors of trauma who struggle to figure out why things seem more difficult for them than for those around them. My clients often seek peace when they’ve often felt like life is harder for them than for others.

Telehealth Only. I view therapy as a profound journey in which the therapist creates a compassionate, safe space for a client to share at a deep level and explore how life is both good and difficult. I have accompanied those facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, sexual abuse, and grief/loss. I hold a Master of Social Work, focused on Trauma Counseling. I have walked with individuals, couples, and families. My training includes EMDR, DBT, ACT, ongoing somatic training, and Inner Child work.

As a musician first, I was drawn to this work as a therapist for many reasons. In both roles, you must be genuine and intentional to be effective, and you must trust the process without getting side tracked by difficulty or unexpected road blocks. You must feel safe enough with those around you to take risks, and be humble so you can continue to learn. As a therapist, I value having the role of facilitating a safe space for healing and the journey to becoming more intimately connected to yourself and others.

As a therapist and as a fellow human being, I have come to know trauma. More importantly, I have seen the other side of trauma, and to experience and bear witness to this type of profound healing is awe-inspiring. I am a trauma specialist who provides therapy for children, adolescents, and adults suffering from the impacts of traumatic experiences including sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, maltreatment, neglect, life threatening/life changing events, and grief or loss.
